  8.            Welcome to  the  world  of  HyperChat.  This  is a world of
  9.          fantasy, fun and above all CHAT!!

  11.          MODERATORS:
  12.            Moderators are those special  persons the sysop has elected
  13.            or chosen  to take charge of the chatting.  It  is  his/her
  14.            responsibility to  see that everything flows along smoothly
  15.            and that all room themes remain on topic. The Moderator
  16.            can also..
  17.            1. Modify users account while  in  the teleconference. This
  18.               does NOT effect their personal account on the BBS. It is
  19.               only a modification of what a user can and  can  not  do
  20.               within the teleconference
  21.            2. Remove users from the teleconference
  22.            3. Invite/uninvite    users    from   any   room   in   the
  23.               teleconference.
  24.            4. Can enter and exit any room  at  anytime with or without
  25.               being invited.
  26.            5. Has  the  option of entering the teleconference  without
  27.               anyone knowing  he/she  is there ie in Silent Mode. With
  28.               this option activated, the user will never know when the
  29.               moderator is watching the  conversations. This option is
  30.               often used to keep an eye on what is transpiring  within
  31.               the teleconference to keep illegal activities out.

  33.            Moderators will  have  an extra set of commands to aid them
  34.          in their job as moderators. At  the  command line prompt type
  35.          .? for a complete list of commands available to you.

  39.          USERS:
  40.          User commands are given here with a brief example of what each
  41.          command does and how it works.

  43.          Teleconference commands are:
  44.           .X or .Q          Exit from the teleconference
  45.           .L                List the users in this room
  46.           .S                Show ALL users and locations
  47.           .U  or .I <User>  Un/Invite this user to/from your room
  48.                Example: .U Blake
  49.              The above example would UnInvite Blake from  your room. In
  50.          other words it would tell him to leave.
  51.                Example: .I Blake
  52.              The opposite  of  UnInvite  is  Invite.  The above example
  53.          would Invite Blake to Join you in your room.
  54.           .J <User>         Join <user's> room
  55.                Example .J Blake
  56.              The above example would allow  you  to  Join  Blake in his
  57.          room AFTER you have been invited.
  58.           .J                Join YOUR room
  59.             This command by itself would remove you from  any  room you
  60.          are currently in and take you back to your own room.

  62.           .T <text>         Change room theme to <text>
  63.                Example: .T Monkey Business
  64.              The above  example  would change the theme from what it is
  65.              currently to Monkey Business.  Use your own imagination to
  66.              change it to what ever you want.
  67.           .M                Join the MAIN teleconference
  68.           .E                Enter personal data entry mode
  69.              This command allows you to edit your own personal data. It
  70.              will remain  the  way you change it until  you  change  it
  71.              again.

  73.           /<user> <text>    Whisper/Page <user> with <text>
  74.                Example: /Blake I think you are a great person
  75.              The above  example  would  send a private message to Blake
  76.              telling him you think he is great. No one else in the room
  77.              will see it. Only the person to whom it is sent

  80.           .A<+, ->          Turn actions on/off
  81.           .C                HyperChat Program Information
  82.           .Y                Your Information
  83.           .G<+, ->          Turn ANSI Gpx on/off

  85.           <text>            Broadcast <text> to everyone in the room
  86.              Plane text without any other commands before it would send
  87.              the same statement or message to everyone in the room.

  89.           <action> <text>   Use <action> with <text> variable
  90.            Use anyone of the ACTION commands followed by a text to send
  91.            anyone in the room.
  92.                Example: KISS Blake I think your great
  93.               This example would send Blake  a  Kiss  and  tell him you
  94.               think he  is  great.  Use  your  own imagination  with  a
  95.               variety of action commands. Ask the moderator to add more
  96.               actions if you do not see one you want.
